UPDATE 10.17.25 Young Thug's SP5DER brand put on the Sweet Tooth Rodeo in partnership with the Bill Pickett Invitational Rodeo Foundation. The event, which took place in Houston on Thursday, Oct. 16, served as the first sighting of one of the label's upcoming Adidas Superstar collaborations.
The "Core Black" style features semi-translucent outsoles that reveal branding elements from Young Thug's SP5DER, as well as a patent leather profile 3-Stripes, and a series of web-shaped patterns embossed across the uppers.

Founded in 2019, SP5DER has overtaken youth culture over the last two years. The imprint's bold graphics and distressed aesthetics have made it a pioneering force in street fashion. Detailed looks at the project unveiled by X user @brandon1an have yet to surface, but it's expected that SP5DER's "shell-toes" feature similar design cues as some of the label's most popular products.
Although Young Thug's link to Adidas Originals might seem random, it first officially formed in 2017 as part of the Three Stripes' Original is Never Over campaign. The YSL Records frontman also modeled for the German brand alongside 21 Savage and Playboi Carti in 2018.

Most recently, Young Thug wore a pair of chunky Superstars in the music video for "Closing Arguments." The pair in question, however, appears to be Pharrell Williams' Superstar '92 collaboration.
Matching SP5DER-branded t-shirts are expected to launch alongside footwear, if the project comes to fruition.
