Australia's Up There Store has teamed up with New Balance for their latest collaboration, taking the New Balance 1906R "down under."

This collaboration departs from the color scheme of the "Backyard Legends" duo that launched in 2022. The 1906RUP by New Balance features a unique palette of shades of grey. According to the Melbourne-based brand, the aim of their third "N"-branded project was to play with light, and they've achieved this by incorporating shades of grey, a color synonymous with New Balance for decades.

The sneakers feature breathable mesh uppers adorned with synthetic, canvas, and plastic components that harken back to the model's performance running origins. Up There has carefully selected these materials to create a play on reflectivity depending on the lighting and viewing angle. The silver overlays across the upper boast a cream color, appearing on one of the four sets of laces and the sole unit. The "Grey Ice" finish extends to the N-DURANCE rubber outsole and the springy N-ERGY pods at the rear foot; while co-branding is absent on the pair, Up There are signature green accents on the aglets and Ortholite sock liners.

The collaboration will be available via uptherestore.com on Black Friday, November 24th. A newbalance.com launch date has not yet been announced.
